A daycare facility was broken into by an off-duty POLICE OFFICER who was DRUNK and couldn’t remember his address nor where he parked. The owner, a Black woman, got an alert that there was an intruder and she dispatched 911. When they arrived, they attempted to persuade her NOT to press trespassing charges.

The iconic figure was released from prison on February 11, 1990 after 27 years. During his time as a prisoner, Mandela was allowed a visitor once a year and he could write and receive a letter once every six months. About four hours on the day of his release he stood before thousands He went on to become the first black president of South Africa in 1994 and continued his lifelong work of peace and social advocacy until his death in 2013.
