Rabbi Dovid Heber shares a short message about Neshama’s campaign: Lighting up Every Neshama

"In Parshas Vayeishev were told of the challenges of Yosef Hatzadik and where he was.

ראה דמות דיוקנו של אביו

In the most difficult of times spiritually - he saw the the face of his father which ultimately saved him.

And then he's taken to the jail in Egypt once again physically he's in the most difficult situation. But Hashem takes him out.

In Parsha's Miketz he's taken out of this most difficult isolation and difficult situation.

Rabbi Reindorp brings this salvation to many individuals in our community in his wonderful organization Neshama.

Lifesaving both spiritually and physically.

I would urge you to help this organization so that he could continue his great work in helping our brothers who find themselves in isolation and in the most difficult of situations.”

Meir grew up in a deeply religious environment, but since his teens, he had drifted far from the Yiddishkeit he once knew—spending the past four decades on a very different path.

When he ended up incarcerated a few years ago due to mental health challenges, that’s when our journey together began. Week by week, we studied, we talked, and we slowly reconnected to that eternal spark within him—the spark of his Neshama.

Now that Meir is finally out, he’s sharing—in his own words—what it meant to have someone who believed in him and helped him begin to believe in himself.
