🎉 EVENT RECAP: Engineers In Heels “Back to the Basics” STEAM Fest 🎉

The Engineers In Heels “Back to the Basics” STEAM Fest was a resounding success, bringing together students, families, professionals, and community leaders for a powerful day of hands-on learning, inspiration, and engagement.

Key Highlights:

✅ 20 partnering organizations participated, representing industries across engineering, technology, education and entrepreneurship.

✅ 6 youth vendors showcased their businesses—many for the first time—demonstrating courage, creativity, and leadership.

✅ About 200 Students and families attended, engaging in interactive activities designed to spark interest in STEAM fields.

✅ Over 70 raffle prizes were donated by Walmart-Maplewood, adding excitement and appreciation for our guests.

✅ The St. Louis Police Department - 3rd District Police and Fire Departments supported the event while simultaneously assisting with tornado relief efforts—an incredible show of community commitment.

✅ David Godbout, owner of the Melvin Theater, not only believed in and supported our vision by offering his venue but also personally provided food for the entire event. A big shoutout to him and the entire Melvin Theater gang for their generosity, partnership, and unwavering support!

The STEAM Fest served as more than just an educational event. It was a catalyst for empowerment, offering youth a chance to envision themselves in future careers while connecting directly with role models and mentors.
