πŸ₯ˆ Small School. Big Dreams.

Congratulations to Team Muramati!

These three students from Muramati Primary & Junior School finished **2nd in Kenya** in the Elementary category at the World Robot Olympiad National Competition.

It was their first time competing at Nationals, where they faced 25 of the best teams from across the country.

After an overnight journey from rural Laikipia and a day filled with challenges, they never stopped encouraging one another or giving their best.

We're proud of their resilience, teamwork, and determination, and we can't wait to see where this journey takes them next.

Way to go, Team Muramati! β€οΈπŸ€–

πŸŒ… Before the Sun Rose...

Competition day actually started hours before sunrise.

Our team spent the early morning driving across Laikipia to pick up students from four schools before beginning the journey to Nairobi for the World Robot Olympiad National Competition.

Some students had been awake since the middle of the night. Parents waited with them along the roadside in the dark. Then came hours of travel on dusty, bumpy roads before a full day of robotics competition even began.

It wasn't easy.

But every student showed up ready to learn, compete, and represent their community.

Sometimes the journey is just as inspiring as the competition itself.

We're so proud of these students. β€οΈπŸ€–

πŸ‘ Behind every robot is a student.

And behind every student is someone who believed in them.

To the teachers, coaches, and mentors who spent countless afternoons troubleshooting code, encouraging frustrated teams, transporting robots, answering questions, and cheering students on through every challenge, thank you.

The trophies may go home with the students, but the impact starts with you.

Thank you for helping young people discover confidence, creativity, resilience, and a love of learning.

This competition would not exist without your dedication.

πŸ’™ We are grateful for every one of you.

πŸ€–πŸŽ‰ The 3rd Annual Laikipia WRO Regional Tournament is almost here!

We're excited to continue our partnership with Ol Pejeta Conservancy to bring robotics opportunities to students across Laikipia, and we're especially grateful to Grain of Rice Academy for hosting this year's competition.

On June 13th, young innovators from across the region will come together to showcase months of hard work, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

We can't wait to celebrate what they've built and cheer them on as they compete for a chance to advance to Nationals!
