Alberto has been writing "Downtown" for almost 20 years, and it is finally nearing completion. "The Power of the Pieces" began as a 50 page mystery story, with a detective named Jane Rockwell almost 23 years ago inspired after reading Agatha Christie in high school. Discovering Anne Rice led to the detective stories becoming more gothic and supernatural.
