Anyone else feel they are in a retraction phase?
To understand what retraction is we must first understand what expansion is. Some liken it to breathing in new energy & breathing out old energy. We are all intertwined with the rhythms & cycles of the universe & the world within ourselves. Expansion happens when seeds of change take root & begin to bloom creating an abundance of growth & fruitful new realities. Energy & creativity flows & we feel a sense of alignment with our divine self. For expansion to be possible periods of retraction are vital as they bring forth old or sometimes stagnant energy or emotions living below the surface in our subconscious. Retraction allows our growth to be integrated by creating space to go deep within & confront parts of ourselves we may not have been ready or had the tools or capacity to fully feel, heal, hold & transmute before. Sometimes retraction can feel heavy, dense & confusing to navigate but trust, stay open & lean into the discomfort because there is gold here in the dark.
