There are two types of people:
✨ People who find a solution for every problem.
✨ People who find an excuse for every solution.
The difference isn’t talent, intelligence, or luck.
It’s mindset.
Life will always throw obstacles our way. Things won’t always be fair, easy, or convenient. But we get to choose how we respond. We can focus on why something won’t work, or we can ask ourselves, “How can I make this work?”
I’ll be honest, I used to be the person who had an excuse for every solution.
Not because I was lazy or didn’t want better, but because I was stuck in old patterns, limiting beliefs, fear, and a nervous system that had learned to survive instead of thrive.
After years of intentional self-growth, healing, and now studying Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), something has finally clicked.
I get it now.
Real change doesn’t happen because life suddenly becomes easier. It happens when we stop waiting for the perfect moment, take ownership of our mindset, and become willing to challenge the stories we’ve been telling ourselves.
I’m finally ready for real, lasting change, not because I’m “fixed,” but because I’ve learned that my thoughts, beliefs, and habits are things I can actively reshape.
So, here’s my question for you:
Are you someone who finds a solution for every problem, or an excuse for every solution?
No judgment, just an opportunity to reflect. Because awareness is where every meaningful change begins.
💬 I’d love to hear your thoughts. Which one do you identify with, and what has helped you shift your mindset?

If you’ve followed me for a while, you already know I’m incredibly selective about the supplements I take and recommend.
I’ve trusted Thorne for years because of their commitment to quality, and one supplement that has become especially important for me is Methyl-Guard Plus.
After learning that I have an A1298C MTHFR variant, elevated homocysteine, and low folate levels, I started paying much closer attention to supporting healthy methylation. Methyl-Guard Plus provides active forms of folate and B vitamins, along with other nutrients that help support healthy methylation, homocysteine levels, cellular energy production, and overall wellness.
As the owner of Balanced Mind & Body Co., I’m passionate about helping people support their health with evidence-informed wellness, not just following trends. Whether we’re talking about nervous system regulation, recovery, hormone health, or foundational nutrition, quality matters, and Thorne is a brand I’ve consistently trusted.

Have you ever had your homocysteine, folate, or B12 levels checked? I’d love to hear your experience in the comments!

Lately, I’ve been missing the house my ex-fiancé and I bought together in Tucson in early 2020. A beautiful home. Three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Fully renovated. Big yards. Open space. A life I thought I was building toward marriage and stability.
And then… life unraveled.
COVID. Me pouring everything into my business. The energy of that house. The slow realization that love doesn’t always survive the versions of ourselves we outgrow. We drifted. I moved out. He sold the house. And just like that, a whole future I thought was solid disappeared.
For a long time, I wasn’t okay with that. I was hurt. Resentful. Grieving not just the relationship—but the version of me who believed that was the end destination.
Then life cracked me open even further.
I bought an RV. Lived off-grid. Got C. diff. Nearly died twice. Had hip surgery. Moved states. Ended up in Texas—one of the places my soul loves most—because something in me knew I needed to be closer to my dad.
What I didn’t know was that the first time I’d see him in over 20 years… would be the last.
I spent five hours holding his hand while he was restrained and sedated, declining from Lewy body dementia, being taken off methadone by doctors who didn’t understand the consequences. The man I saw wasn’t the dad I remembered—but my dad was a force. A flawed, brilliant, funny, hardworking man who loved church, loved his kids in his own way, and carried demons he never fully escaped.
And somehow, even through all of that, he still guided me here.
I’m grateful for Texas. I’m grateful for the life I’m building now.
But I’m also finally ready to let go of the house, the identity, and the version of me that existed back then.
The woman I was five or six years ago is not who I am taking into 2026.
And that matters—because 2025 is a 9 year.
A year of endings. Deaths. Lessons. Letting go.
And 2026 is a 1 year—the beginning of an entirely new nine-year cycle.
New identity. New leadership. New direction. New wealth patterns. New self-trust.
This is not the year for vague intentions or surface-level goals.
What if this year you decide…
· Who you are no longer willing to be
· What you are done carrying
· And what kind of life you are actually building next
2026 is potent:
A Fire Horse year in Chinese astrology—fast, bold, catalytic, and transformational.
A year that demands courage, independence, and momentum.
This is not a “wait and see” cycle.
It’s a choose and commit cycle.
And this is exactly why I opened a very limited number of 1:1 New Year Foundation Sessions.
These are not quick calls.
We spend several hours grounding, clearing, and architecting:
· What you are leaving in 2025
· What identity you are stepping into
· What foundations you are laying for the next 9 years
· Where your energy, money, time, and focus actually belong
This is about happiness, wealth, balance, and aligned growth—not hustle, not burnout, not repeating old patterns.
I only have 5 spots left!
The first step is a 20-minute discovery call to feel into whether this work is the right fit—for both of us. No pressure. Just clarity.
If this resonates in your body…
If you know you can’t carry the old version of yourself into the next cycle…
If you’re ready to choose yourself—
Book your 20-minute discovery call, and let’s see what’s possible.
Once these spots are filled, this container closes.
Message me to schedule a discovery call so we can explore which session is the best fit for you.
