GLP’s are everywhere-and for good reason. There are some real benefits!
That said, there are some tradeoffs and it’s important to understand what you should do to prevent the negative side effects.
1. Strength training is mandatory. You will lose muscle mass. If you don’t understand why muscle mass is important for everyone, especially as we age, then do some research h please.
2. You may lose bone density. Watch it like a hawk. Establishing a baseline before you start is a fantastic idea. DEXA scans aren’t super pricey (for the medical marketplace) and will tell you exactly where you stand.
3. You gotta keep fueling your body! You won’t be as hungry, but smaller meals with nutrient rich goods are vital-especially if you are enduring enough protein.
