Austin Guinea Pig Rescue

We’re back at WG to see Dr. Walker, this time with our new girl Sheila. Sheila came to us from Austin Animal Center about three weeks ago and she seemed fine, but she’s been sounding a bit congested the last 48 hours, so we brought her in to get her checked out, as we don’t want this developing into a respiratory infection. Watch this space! 🙏❤️

Thankful Thursday!

Robert, now named Squiggy, is having a wonderful life with his new buddy, Shirley. Here is what their family says:

"Squiggy ( FKA Robert) is doing great. He settled in so quickly, and is a total love bug. He and Shirley are besties, and spend a lot of time lounging together, and sharing snacks.

Squiggy recently discovered a new skill, and is an avid climber and jumper. So much so, that we’ve raised the sides on the loft, and have ordered a cover for the loft as well. He’s a very active fella!

He’s got a new fan base, and recently discovered that my friend’s 7 year old twins are a solid source of blueberries and easy targets. Offer snuggle = receive treat.

We love having him!"
