Who even am I anymore, and what is life?
It’s been a minute since I’ve streamed anything here. The original plan was games… and then it turned into late-night stenography practice sessions (because why not?). And now? Well…
Life happened—in the best kind of way.
• Family and kids.
• Early morning flights and airports.
• Books, books, books. 🎧☕️📖🌶️💥
• Hockey. (Go Oilers!)
Since the last time I was active here, I’ve gone through project management training, studied data analysis, completed a full-stack coding bootcamp, and somehow landed a role as an Implementation Consultant at Omnicell, a medical automation company. The job is a full-time travel job, so I managed to fall off the face of the earth.
Still figuring out what comes next—but I haven’t forgotten this space.
More to come soon (maybe even games, for real this time? 😅)

Obviously, Steno Talk has been going through some changes, so let us bring you up to speed! If you haven't seen us on social media (then you need to follow usssss....), you may not know that we're losing one of our own, Katie Morfin, to pursue her Thrive course and to take care of her mentees; we're so proud of her! She's doing great things for this profession and its students, folks. That being said, we introduce a new (not-so) co-host from behind the curtain... CANDICE! You'll learn a little bit about our producer, now co-host, on this episode of Season 2, and we'll talk about some of the ideas we have for future episodes that we'd love for you to weigh in on.
