healthcare workers are taught how to save lives, but not always how to process what those moments do to them.

one thing The Pitt captures so well is how survival mode can look “normal” from the outside. the jokes after trauma. the snapping over small things. the quiet hallway check-ins. the way people keep moving even when they’re carrying something heavy.

functioning doesn’t always mean someone is okay.

sometimes support looks less like having the perfect words and more like noticing the people around you. asking twice. sitting with someone for a minute longer. making space for honesty.

especially in high-stress environments, small moments of care matter more than we think. 🤍

bawling my eyes out over this cathartic scene from francesca 😩

grief is hard, and that’s an understatement. and bridgerton actually did a great job of showing the complexity in all the different ways we deal with grief. the ideals we set as a society to deal with it. the way we want to remember a loved one.

in all of the mess, guilt, torn up raw depression, violet shows us there can be happiness to be found. francesca shows us loss is real and painful. and michaela shows us both can coexist- the good, bad, the messy, all at once.
