I really love to snack with smoked mackerel with garri ijebu (fine cassava granules). It has a crunchy and sour taste that I so much enjoy during summer.

I love when I make trio vegetables with pounded yam because it is one of the favorite dishes from southwest Nigeria. This vegetables soup (efo riro) is made with shrimps, stockfish, mackerel fish, crayfish, mushroom and different kinds of pepper. The pounded yam is made from natural yam. I noticed that the taste is very different from the flour yam (ola ola). It is sweeter than the flour powder and the texture came out well food processor. Try it...
