We are back to the vet with Austin. She is doing well and is scheduled for surgery on Friday, June 12th, to both repair her breast and get spayed at the same time. We need to follow a strict care regime by irrigating the area 3 times a day and keeping her in a clean crate with occasional downtime. She will be on several antibiotics to make sure her infection clears up completely and is ready for surgery next week.
