Normally, we try to match our artwork with the rugs and accessories in the room. This one was particularly fun since it was the homeowner’s rug and we happened to find the perfect matching set of artwork to go with it. Who wouldn’t love this office space?

How to maximize a small space: Make the space work for your needs and be smart with your space planning.
That was our goal in this 500 SF studio garage apartment. We wanted to show how much living space you could get out of a small area without feeling cramped. This meant creating zones of spaces by using defined separations.
We love how this modern studio came together! Full kitchen and bathroom, queen bed with an office space, and a full living and dining room. All in the heart of South Austin!

As stagers we come across many kinds of needs when it comes to homeowners. Many times we get a vacant or newly-moved out of home that we fill with our furniture, artwork, and accessories. Sometimes we do partial stages where we mix our things with what the homeowners already have.
At Kenwood we had the latter with an added twist—the homeowners were still in the home! We staged the main house with most of their furniture and accessories so they could still live their daily lives. But we adjusted each space with to be listing-friendly as well, which meant a lot of decluttering!
We move the furniture around to better showcase the spaces, while also bringing in some of our own. We tell homeowners how we accessorize so they know how to keep the styling in place during viewings. And we give them tips on decluttering their personal items without disrupting their lives.
We loved working with the homeowners at Kenwood! Their home is lovely and they did a lot of the work themselves. We hope the next lucky owners get to love it just as much. Flip through for some before and after photos of the transformation.
