New Georgia law allows birthing centers to open without needing permission from nearby hospitals Certificate of need laws were supposed to ensure high-quality health care in rural places. Instead, they allowed hospitals to veto potential competitors.
We often receive inquiries regarding the current status of our birth center initiative.
I'm pleased to update that we are actively navigating through the judicial system in collaboration with the Pacific Legal Foundation.
Concurrently, we are also engaging on the legislative front with Americans for Prosperity. Our commitment to establishing a birth center in Augusta remains steadfast. Pursuing this inequality on two fronts.
