This morning, we beat the heat and spent some time with the Friends Of Hairston Park — and what a great way to start the day!
DeKalb County's Hairston Park is truly a hidden gem. Interpretive signs throughout the park help visitors connect with the local habitat and wildlife while also encouraging you to slow down, listen, breathe, and enjoy the moment.
With the peaceful serenity garden, beautiful pavilion, open green spaces, a playground, a fishing lake, and winding trails, there's a little something for everyone. We couldn't have asked for a better morning in the park! 🌳☀️🎣
