We find warm, loving forever homes for Golden Retrievers to prevent them from being strays or adding to shelter overpopulation. Regardless of medical needs or age, dogs receive vet care, training if required and safe passage to a forever home.

ADOPTED! Gumby started out life as a stray before finding his way into a shelter. AGA stepped in to help this sweet, one-year-old pup find the loving home he deserved. It didn’t take long for Gumby’s foster family to realize that this young, energetic, and playful dog belonged in a home filled with people who could match his enthusiasm for life and love of play.
His perfect family was looking to expand their household with the addition of another dog. Their active family includes mom and dad, two young children, and their 6-year-old dog, Maisey. When they met Gumby, they knew right away that this happy pup would be a perfect fit.
Gumby, now renamed Charlie, moved into his new home just in time for the Fourth of July holiday. According to Mom, Charlie handled the fireworks like a champ. While the scary thunderstorms that rolled through town made him a little anxious, he was fortunate to have a new family by his side, providing the comfort and reassurance he needed to weather the storm.
Charlie has settled into his new home remarkably quickly. With Mom working from home full-time, he enjoys companionship throughout the day. When the kids return from daycare, he is showered with even more love, attention, and playtime in their large fenced-in backyard. Mom describes Charlie as a real goofball — and the family wouldn’t have it any other way.
