EAST COBB CIVIC ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Most of us who are active in ECCA never set out to be involved in politics. We simply wanted what most families want: a safe and comfortable community, good schools for our children, and neighborhoods where people feel connected and proud to live. We wanted to contribute to the place we call home.

TERIYAKI MADNESS
Marietta is about to find out what happens when massive portions, fresh ingredients and zero patience for boring food all collide in one place. Teriyaki Madness (TMAD) is opening its newest shop at 3000 Windy Hill Road SE, Suite 180, on Saturday, April 25 – giving locals a new option for fast, made-to-order meals that cut no corners and definitely don’t skimp on size or quality.

ECCA Adopt-A-Mile
The East Cobb Civic Association (ECCA) held another Adopt-a-Mile cleanup along Johnson Ferry Road on Saturday working to maintain and clean up a one-mile stretch of the busy corridor. District 3 Commissioner JoAnn Birrell joined 9 others to participate in the Keep Cobb Beautiful program.
The Adopt‑a‑Mile program is an excellent opportunity for Boy Scouts and high school students to earn Community Service credit while making a visible difference in East Cobb.
Two additional cleanup dates are scheduled for 2026: July 18 (9:00 am), and October 17 (10:00 am). Volunteers meet at the back of the Publix parking lot at Johnson Ferry Road and Woodlawn Drive. Please bring gloves and a “grabber” if you have one; trash bags and vests are provided.
ECCA welcomes all who want to help keep East Cobb clean and beautiful. Thank you to everyone who participated.
