Tuesday is Election Day, and voters who haven't already gone to the polls will make their voices heard. In the weekend edition, we made our endorsements in the local municipal races. Pick up a copy to see who we endorsed and also to get our Voter's Guide, with information on all the candidates who seek the honor of your vote. Also on the ballot Tuesday will be an ELOST renewal for county schools and homestead exemptions for cities throughout the county. We recommend you vote for ELOST (renews existing sales tax and everyone shares the burden) and the homestead exemptions (helps with your property tax burden) when you go to the polls Tuesday. The important thing to remember is no matter whoever and however you vote on Election Day, go vote!

Friends, here's a recommendation from Dr. Google if you're wondering about the upcoming election in Super District 8. I have posted detailed positions regarding major issues on my website and stand ready to discuss those positions as well as my record of accomplishments for our city with anyone at any time. My opponent appears to be running an "underground " campaign and refuses to state anything about his policy positions or what he claims he has done for our city. I challenge him to come out into the open and tell us what he contends I have not done for our wonderful city and just what he proposes as alternatives. The truth is that he has nothing genuine to offer. Elections have consequences so consult Dr. Google and other resources to determine the truth and then be sure to vote for your choice for leadership for our city.
