Guided Seeker

We arrived in Bali late at night and I could only make out the soft silhouettes of the ornately-carved stone statues and buildings as we whooshed past, windows down in the taxi from the airport. Even so, the fragrance of plumeria, incense and sea salt on the soft, warm air and the feeling of the land was enough to bring tears to my eyes. And waking up to this was, obviously, beyond. .
I learned that the town of Ubud was originally important as a source of medicinal herbs and plants. It gets its name from the Balinese world ubad, which means medicine. Guess I’m in the right place. ✨
