For optimum health we must take care of our 3 systems = nervous system, digestive system and immune system because they all work together. If one is out of whack you'll feel it in the others.
Our central nervous system (CNS) needs good quality fats to help calm down our bodies. When we are in a flight or fight state (stressed out 😫)we don’t digest properly.
When we lubricate CNS with healthy fats from Omegas it coats each of our nerves with a protective sheath and in turn our neuro pathways are a lot cleaner and faster making us less reactive and feel more in balance or flow.
Ultimately, when the nervous system is more calm we digest better our food better. Think of a time when you were stressed out like crazy...could you eat? How did your stomach feel? It's all connected. When you are stressed for long periods of time are you more likely to fall ill with a cold, flu or some weird infection? The systems are all connected!
Our nervous system is made up of a massive number of cells and neural tubes! The nerves of our lungs alone, if stretched out, would span the size of a tennis court. Think of how many billions of nerve cells you have firing in your body. It's amazing!
Needless to say it needs lubrications, oxygen, water, plants, and mineral nutrients from plants and fats for lubrication.
When our central nervous system is in equilibrium we are calmer and are open to a more positive state which means less time spent in fear, judgement, anxiety and worry.

It's never just one thing....
This is true for us all. When dealing with our own feelings or looking for a way to express yourself, there is never just 'one thing'. I'm creative. How do you express yourself?
Perhaps you’re dealing with frustrations because of health issues. There are layers to our health journey. Write down your goals, don't overwhelm yourself..just write down a daily goal. I know if I dont write down my daily goal or my weekly goal, I get sidetracked, ...that's me. What about you?
Your health journey may involve more movement or better eating habits. Personally, I'm not a fan of diets, but rather I am a fan of healthy living,..figuring that out for myself, then helping others.
I do this So I Can be present when I am needed or wanted.
I move everyday. I keep track of my steps. One thing is for sure - we are either going through it, going to go through it or we have been there. Where are you on your journey? I'm a work in progress.
