The best part of leading this beautiful community is embracing the moments when the teacher becomes the student. Holding space for those that need to tell their stories is the highest honor I’ve had since being a caregiver to my mom. Teaching and leading are beautiful, don’t get me wrong— but LISTENING? And I mean, REALLY listening? That’s the greatest gift I can give to all of you and myself. We have stories to tell, my friends— even the ones that are riddled with loss and pain. In fact, those are the stories that are most worth telling and most worthy of being heard.
