I watched Inherit the Wind last night, and at the end of the trial, Harry Morgan, the judge, closed the proceedings with the Latin, Sine Die. Had to look it up, of course, and the meaning is used in reference to a proceeding being adjourned "with no appointed date for resumption." As this is the first day of retirement for me, I declare my web business adjourned, sine die. Welcome to my Weird.
