Jay McLuen fired a five under par 67 to overcome a 2 stroke deficit and capture the Hopkins Golf Peach State Pro Tour's Georgia Club Classic. McLuen finished the three day event at fourteen under par, four shots ahead of second place finisher Kyle Scott. Scott fired a final round 68. Wade Binfield finished in third place, five shots back after a final round 69. Mike Van Sickle finished in fourth, six shots behind McLuen. A special thanks to the staff of the Georgia Club...the course was in outstanding condition, many of the participants raved about the shape of the course.
The tour is off next week for U.S. Open Qualifying and will return May 16-18 at The Lion in Breman Ga. Full results available at www.pspgt.com
