A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern early today, leaving at least fifteen people dead and injuring 129 others, according to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD). CARE Philippines is coordinating with local governments and disaster risk reduction authorities to assess needs and stand ready to support communities as the situation develops.
