Utilizing the physical properties of water, our goal is to restore patients to their maximum function where they can resume their normal activities—focusing on a friendly, results-oriented approach to help them move from pain to recovery. A highly effective form of rehabilitation, modern aquatic physical therapy combines the benefits of exercise with the buoyancy and resistance of heated water to create a controlled, productive environment for rehabilitation and recovery. Our therapists accompany each patient in the water during all treatment sessions. However, swimming is not required, as most exercises are performed while standing in the water using flotation devices or holding onto the side of the pool.​
