Practice
The only way that selling gets easier and better is by a lot of practice. We recommend that you challenge yourself to reach a higher level in each and every sales call or pitch. You might feel nervous as you do it, but really try to pay attention! You will just get better at accurately identifying the right opportunity to persuade someone at the right time. Challenge your customers when an ideal opportunity arises - don’t hesitate to say “you should/should not do this for these specific reasons … ”

Stop talking about extracting value from your customer
Don't be so self-centered as to think about just how you can extract value from your customers! Instead, start thinking about ways on how you can add value to them because what could a business exist for if it doesn't benefit its users in some way?

Try to serve first
When I say, serve first- I mean go out into the community and help others in order to get exposure for you and your business. It is a great way to do this by discovering what educational, trade, and professional communities your target prospects are likely to belong to and offer your services to help them out.
