We never stopped creating, we just had a lot of crazy things happen to our family and I had to step away! I’ve give more of an update over at my other account:

🦢 TP roll swan ornament 🦢

These little swan ornaments are so easy to make and can be put together in no time! Head over to our homeschool account to see how we have paired learning with them 👉🏻

Here’s what you need: a tp roll (mine was white-ish so I didn’t bother painting it but if you don’t have a white one, you’ll need white paint or gesso); a glue gun, a feather, a small piece of gold sparkly paper, a scissor, a pencil and a sharpie. Also, a piece of pretty string for the ornament hanger.

First, use your pencil to draw your template to cut out. Swipe to see a pic. The lines on the side go up to a point in the direct back. That’s the tail feather. Keep those spare pieces that you cut off to cut out two elongated eye-shape pieces. Those will be glued to the inside as wings.

Fold over the beak, fold over the head.

Cut a small rectangle (about half an inch) of gold sparkly paper and glue the ends to form a tube. Snip off little triangles on one end to make a crown. Glue this to the head.

Snip 3-4 lines going at a diagonal on both sides. See pic. Glue the wings in.

Glue the feather on the back.

Use a sharpie to color in the beak.

If you are making an ornament, glue the string inside the crown.

For the black swan, do all of the above, but first, color your cut tp roll and wings with sharpie inside and out. I also used an orange marker for the beak.

So easy! So cute!!

Marbled Gift Tags 🤩

Thank you for your fun prompt this week in Ti Kerman Schoolhouse to make marbled paper and the idea to turn them into gift tags! We had so much fun! This is just our first batch of dry tags. We can’t wait to cut up the rest!

Pony Bead Indian Corn

This super simple craft was loved by all ages in our house! I read aloud a few books about Thanksgiving; head to our homeschool account to see which ones at , while the kiddos strung away.

Spend a few minutes looking at pictures of Indian corn online. Be sure to check out the gorgeous while you’re at it!

You’ll need three pipe cleaners in a “husk” color. Make an X with two pipe cleaners and fold them over to secure the X. Then, add a third and fold it over to secure it. You may want to slightly bend them upwards before stringing your beads to keep them from falling off easily. Then, fill all the strands in with your pony beads, alternating colors. Leave about an inch to an inch and a half of exposed pipe cleaner and twist them all together. Spread out the “husks” and there ya have it! Beautiful, simple and fun Indian corn!
