The freedom to be creative is so important to me and to a child’s development. A while ago I noticed that my 4 year old would shy away from anything art related and always felt like he was “doing it wrong”… He is very particular and what you would probably consider a perfectionist so art just seemed too fluid for him. Nevertheless I kept introducing new textiles and options and encouraging him with my interest in his creations! He now sees art. as fun and takes pride in telling you all about his masterpieces!!
