Never be ashamed of the illness that you are fighting. You didn't do this to yourself. You have no control over your bodies destructive nature. it's not your fault that you can't physically make it to an event, or work. You're going to have good days embrace them. Enjoy the break from all the suffering and use the time to let God heal you.
