I am deeply concerned about claim search efforts conducted by the security agency responsible for maritime safety at the time of the report on Friday night into the early morning of Saturday particularly as it relates to Raymond Roseman, who went missing at sea. It is disheartening to witness a situation where the value of human life seems to be overshadowed by others' disregard. Raymond suffered from mental illness, he is not CRAZY. Sadly his illness stems from stress, which affected his ability to work productively and sleep. Although mentally ill, he's not a menace to society and shouldn't be treated as one. Regardless of our circumstances or limitations, no one should be discriminated against due to their illness; every life possesses inherent worth and should be treated with the utmost importance and respect.

WITHOUT crucial details such as the color of the boat, occupied by Raymond, what was the basis for the search?
At what time or point was the search conducted?

After 48hrs has elapsed. It is clear cut that information like this was not important as there was no intention to conduct an immediate search. This raises questions about whether the same protocol would apply if the situation involved other matters such as narcotics.
It is essential to recognize that every human life is not only VALUABLE but also serves a PURPOSE, whether known to us or not. While it may not seem significant to some, it could mean everything to others.

In emergency situations like this, waiting for the expiration of the 48-hour waiting period before initiating search efforts should not be necessary. On receiving a concern call NOT from a stranger BUT an immediate family member should alert you to turn your alarm on and make every efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals who might be in distress. This should be done promptly and decisively.
