✨ Mentor Appreciation Post ✨
We are incredibly grateful for the 22 mentors, including 5 LDP alumni, who have dedicated their time and energy to supporting our teens this semester. Their guidance, encouragement, and leadership have made such a meaningful impact on our program and we were thrilled to celebrate and thank this amazing group for all they do for our community.

We had a great time at Session 4, exploring what it means to be an empathetic volunteer through discussions about stereotypes, labels, and the real lived experiences of the children and families we work with throughout the year.
Shoutout to .atlanta for bringing the FUN with an incredible team competition all about youth movements in Israel and preparation for the IDF! We loved getting to know you all and learning more about Israeli life and culture. 🙌😎
Prior to the session, 's JAccess program led a thoughtful training that helped our mentors grow as more inclusive and compassionate leaders for our teens. It was so meaningful to put that learning into practice throughout the session!

On Friday, April 24th, CCC had a wonderful afternoon with the families and staff of Lake Forest Elementary School for our first-ever festival together! Over 500 participants came out to enjoy music, inflatables, pencil pouch decorating, STEAM activities, and more. 51 LDP teens helped run the activities, welcome families, and make sure everyone had a fun and memorable experience. We are so grateful to Lake Forest for welcoming us into their community!
