The first annual Atlanta SCAR was held September 8, 2012, in College Park, GA. After thorough deliberation, the decision to dissolve S.C.A.R. was made on January 20, 2025. This decision was made with great care and consideration. We remain committed to the Sickle Cell community, and to making sure awareness is made and support is given.
