A bystander is a person who is present at an event or incident but is not directly involved in it. In the context of abuse, this does not mean action cannot be taken to help prevent a situation from going further. As a bystander, you might:
-See an incident of harassment
-Notice someone in a risky situation
-Recognize warning signs of an impending assault

This holiday season, if you are a witness to someone who may be in danger, remember C.A.R.E when intervening to help with prevention. Remember, NEVER put your own safety at risk and proceed with caution.

🌼 Spreading Awareness, Honoring Survivors 🌼

On February 4th, The Trinity Center Child Advocacy Center, in partnership with the Coweta County District Attorney’s Office, hosted a beautiful event in recognition of Crime Victims' Rights Week and Child Abuse Awareness Month.
Together with over 40 attendees—including our incredible community partners and a local Girl Scout troop—we planted flowers in front of the Municipal Building in downtown Newnan. Each bloom represents hope, healing, and our shared commitment to supporting victims of crime and child abuse. 💙

We were proud to recognize the unwavering dedication of our partners who work tirelessly to serve and protect children and families every day. 💐
