nds of rock ‘n’ roll (except maybe death metal) and has found great influence from female vocalists throughout history, namely Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Ann Wilson, Tori Amos, Ani Difranco and is excited by the new wave of indie rock female-led bands like Joseph, Tennis, Wye Oak, and St. It has been her dream to sing with a band and she could not be more grateful for the opportunity to rock out with these super fun gents. Mark Landgrebe (guitar + vocals): As a child growing up in the 60’s and 70’s in Atlanta, Mark couldn’t help but be heavily influenced by the great bands of that time. Early memories of the Beatles, 5th Dimension, and the Mamas and the Papas tuned his ear to rich vocal harmonies. Later on in the 70’s bands like the Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller, Three Dog Night and yes, even the Partridge Family (he was a member of their fan club) got him into rock. At age of 10, Mark started playing guitar and dreamed of one day playing music from some his favorite bands like Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Styx, Foreigner, Pink Floyd. Finally in the early 90’s Mark’s dream came true as he was in a series of bands including: Liquor Box, Radiant, and Full Throttle. For a brief stint Mark dropped out of the music scene then returned again in the early 2000’s in a trio call DMT Band which transformed into Acoustic Rebellion morphing into The Wry Tones and now Yesterday Calling. and plays bass and an occasional mandolin and guitar for the band. In the past he has played for various bands like Brother Bob and the Liquorice Twist, Fast Eddie and Friends, and the Cavaliers. Dan Sherlock (drums): Dan started playing drums when his 3 brothers said “we need a drummer, your in the band”. Dan and his brothers played in a post-punk band in the early and mid 80s; playing bands like The Ramones, S*x Pistols, Clash, B52’s, English Beat, etc. Then Dan took an Eagles-type break for about 30 years to focus on family and career. Dan started playing again about 5 years ago and is enjoying using the right hemisphere of his brain again. He has played with several bands in the Atlanta area over the past few years.
