Hooray for Beach day! We are so proud of our associates in the South Texas area! They spent a day at the Galveston beach doing beach clean-up. More than 1,500 cigarette butts and 47 pounds of trash was collected.

How it started, how it’s going…Shout out to our associate, Jason Johnson, Warehouse Production Supervisor – Night. “What keeps me at RNDC is the encouragement to consistently strive for constant elevation and that each level teaches us more about the culture within the company.”

It’s always a great day for pancakes! Special thanks to the Operations Team for starting the day with breakfast. The local Grand Prairie, TX leadership made pancakes and bacon for drivers and night shift at 3 am, then fired up the griddles again at 11 am for the day shift.

This is how we do it… Team Feed was able to raise more than $32 thousand for Feeding America in July! TRULY GRATEFUL to ALL associates who donated online, participated in a food drive, volunteered at their local food bank. We accomplished so much more in our combined efforts and corporate match.

We’re highlighting SDGs throughout the month of August and encouraging associates to participate through the year.

Black Women’s Equal Pay Day is the approximate day a Black woman must work into the new year to make what white non-Hispanic man made at the end of the previous year. Based on ACS Census data, the 2021 wage gap for Black women compared to non-Hispanic white men is $0.63 (cents). Eliminating the would boost income to Black women whose wages help sustain their households.
