I try not to put my personal stuff out there in “Facebook land”… but I just feel I need to honor a Man who sacrificed everything for his family and raised us kids (aka “The Trotti Tribe”) with a sense of right & wrong, compassion, kindness, toughness, dedication, understanding, know-how, humor, appreciation, love for nature, etc, etc, etc…
Today was one of those days where I had to put my “happy face” on even though my heart was somewhere else… and it was a tough day to get through 😞

I literally can’t believe it’s been 16 years since I got that call from my mom, here in Georgia, telling me that my Dad had passed away up in New York. I never felt so helpless ☹️

Honestly, I think each year that May 30th will be easier, but today was no exception. It’s kinda funny because I was raised by this big, gruff & tough career Marine badass… a no-excuses, do-or-die, “rub some dirt on it and get back in the game” kind of man, so being strong is definitely built into me. It’s just that days like today hit different 😢

I don’t think a single day has gone by in 16 years that I haven’t thought about him at least once… it’s crazy!!!

So if I seemed short, reserved, “fake”, quiet, or a little “off” today, I apologize. I had to “adapt-and-overcome” and dig deep to keep smiling. I’m just glad that I had great friends surrounding me today to keep me laughing and smiling and kept my mind occupied today… thank you all 🙏🏼

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!
Just figured I’d come on here to post a video and a bunch of pictures of my booth this weekend from Blairsville‘s annual Arts, Crafts and Music Festival. Although the weather wasn’t optimal, the festival still had a great turnout and everyone had a good time!!!
It was so nice seeing all of my fellow vendors and friends, as well as all of the return customers that I hadn’t seen since last year 🥰
I was really proud of how the booth laid out this year and I absolutely love my spot on the courthouse lawn. I rolled out a plethora of new designs and they were all received very well 👌🏻
I can’t thank Stephanie and her team enough for all the hard work they put in make the festival run as smoothly as it did!!!! Great Job!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
