The first cocktus harvest of the year has just been brought in from the fields!
I haven't made a batch of these since March of last year. There's a whole story behind the reason for that. I'll tell y'all all about it a little later.
For now, enjoy looking at these guys. They'll be making their debut online tomorrow at 11am EST. Tell your grandma and your kindergarten bbf. I'm sure they want to know about this.

November flyer is here y'all! *obnoxious air horn noises*
This is your number one place to find out where you can catch me in person this month! Go tell everyone, even the mayor. 🗣️

One year ago yesterday, I walked out of Atlanta Girls' School, the school I worked at for five years, for the very last time. I know this is a story many of y'all are already familiar with but for those that aren't: my school closed at the end of May 2024. So I wasn't leaving because I wanted to. I had no say in the matter. None of us did.
In the year since, SO much has happened. Things I could have only dreamt of a year ago have occurred. I've been in multiple gallery shows across the state with more on the horizon. I've participated in countless pop-ups and markets with my pottery and sculptures. I attended an out of state workshop on my own. I've thrown hundreds of pots. I've paid my bills. I'm a full time artist!
Y'ALL are the ones who have made this all possible! Your support in the form of words of encouragement, sharing my work with your friends, sending me event opportunities, stopping by my booth to say hi, and of course purchasing the work I pour myself into every day. Without y'all, this past year would have looked completely different! I really can't put into words just how much each and every one of y'all mean to me. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! 💖
I know the future feels uncertain right now, but I am trying to remain hopeful for the next year and the next year and every year after that. I hope I can continue to make work that feeds my soul and brings a smile to your faces and joy to your homes.
So yeah, I miss AGS, my former students, and my former coworkers but maybe the school closing wasn't such a bad thing after all. 🌠
