So here is Trigger our Deer tracking/Recovery dog! We track in Barrow, Hall, Walton and More
AFTER THE SHOT
DO’S
1. Mark the hit site & deer’s last known location
2. Obtain permission to track on adjacent properties
3. Take photos of the arrow and blood and send them to me
4. Call as soon as you think you may need help
DONT’S
1. Walk on the blood trail
2. Grid search with your buddies
3. Push the animal, unless instructed to
4. Track anymore after making contact with me
If you think your shot was marginal, call before tracking yourself. Waiting for the tracker will dramatically improve your chance of recovery. The faster you call, the better chance we have!
