When I first became a business owner and decided to legalize my business, I utilized my home address as my business address. I had no idea about virtual office spaces or why adding my home address for my business wasn't the best decision. Did you know once you register your business, it becomes PUBLIC knowledge and millions of people will have access to this information? As I began to learn more about legalizing my business and all that it entails, I began to see why I needed to update my business address IMMEDIATELY.

📌Your business needs to have a strong foundation and creating a website for your business is one of the requirements. FIVERR, FB, IG, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube are a few places where you can either receive help or create one on your own. When lenders complete research on your business, they need to be able to at least pull up a full website or 1 pager.

Here are a few other things needed...
1. Business Incorporation- this helps keep your personal assets protected and is a separate entity from your personal life
2. EIN is needed for tax purposes and is free at irs.gov
3. Opening that business bank account shows lenders your financial history and allows you to keep your personal funds separate from the business.
4. Business Email & Phone Number will also establish your credibility. ie: [email protected]
