Two J Farms

It wasn’t the plan for today, but when we heard abt a skinny goat in a shelter an hour and a half away, we knew we had to bail her out and give her a loving home . She seems very sweet despite her condition and having to be in a shelter listening to dogs bark all day. We are on our way home and she’s going to get the love she deserves. ❤️

Careful leaning in for a big sniff 👃🏽..the flowers have the smell of rotting flesh, in order to attract the flies 🪰which pollinate them.

The “Stapelia gigantea” is native to desert regions from South Africa to Tanzania. It’s common names include Zulu giant, carrion plant & toad plant.
