At ARC Fly Rods, our bamboo journeys don’t stop at trout streams. Every rod built in our workshops is meant to fish and to travel.

This January, my partner John is taking on one of our biggest challenges yet: Peacock Bass in Brazil. Armed with a 3-piece 9wt bamboo rod and 54 custom-tied flies prepped over Christmas, he’s ready to battle one of the most aggressive freshwater predators on the planet.

We’ve built bamboo rods for muskie, pike, bonefish, and tarpon and now we’re pushing bamboo even further. Because at ARC Fly Rods, we know how to design and build custom bamboo rods for any fishing adventure you can imagine.

🇺🇸 Celebrating Independence with Craft and Cast 🇺🇸

At ARC Fly Rods, we mark the Fourth of July in true tradition—by tying a special fly in honor of our independence. This year’s fly: a vibrant red, white, and blue Atlantic Salmon pattern, crafted to catch the eye of fish and fly fishers alike.

We’re also proud to introduce our first 3-piece, 10’0” two-handed bamboo trout spey rod—a beauty we debuted at the Blue Ridge Trout Festival. It cast like a dream in the demo area and is ready to swing these patriotic flies on Carolina rivers and larger brook and brown trout streams.
