There’s a stereotype that as your realtor I should be available to you 24/7.
Text me at 11:05 pm? I should answer, stat (it’s not like I need to sleep or anything...)
Want to see a house across town in the next half hour with no notice? I should reschedule my whole day to make that happen.
I am a human being. Not a robot.
I have business hours. And I *gasp* sometimes take days off.
One of my favorite sayings is “you can’t pour out of an empty cup.”
When I give myself time to re-charge I can actually show up even better for you.
It allows me to NOT burnout. And to feel gratitude instead of resentment.
So I can continue doing what I love i.e. helping you crush your goals. Now...and 2 years from now.
And when it comes to showings, a little bit of lead time actually makes for a better experience for you.
Because then I have time to line up other houses you might like. I have time to get additional info about the house or prep valuations. I can come prepared with resources in hand.
I make this clear upfront. Because I can serve you best when I have boundaries in my business.
So if you want someone who will instantly respond to every non-emergency, midnight text and say “how high?” when you ask them to jump...I may not be for you.
And that’s okay.
But if you want someone who will guide and empower you through this process...
Someone who will show up 150% to every showing, meeting, and phone call...
