Thank you to State Representative Rick Jasperse for your donation of $250 to support prizes for our Slice of Summer Challenge! 🍕📚

The Slice of Summer Challenge encourages community members to read for 30 minutes every day during the month of May for the chance to win a $10 gift card to a local pizza restaurant.

With the $250 donation from Representative Jasperse, there are now an additional 25 gift card prizes to pizza restaurants in Pickens county for community members to win.

Early Mother’s Day Tribute

This is my Peony patch. So beautiful ! Got its start from my Memaw Woodby in Johnson city Tn. Dug em up when they were selling her house . Shared with cousins at a reunion.
Then got a few more from my moms .
And have added a few over the years
Now the patch is a tribute to the women in my life. Every time I work with them I think of them and what they did for me .
We try to share them too ; Marcia is the best at that!
Plus deer don’t eat them!!
