Every year thousands of students compete in local science fairs across the state. The winners of these fairs are invited to compete in one of the GSEF-Affiliated Regional Fairs. In January and February, and the top projects from each regional fair are invited to attend and compete at GSEF. The world's largest pre-college science and engineering competition, the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair, took place May 8-13 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Forty Georgia high school students participated in the event, and 11 brought home major awards. Congratulations to all!
