Meet the Director of
You Are Cordially Invited to the End of the World!
Zi Alikhan
Zi Alikhan is a nationally recognized director whose work has been seen at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, South Coast Repertory, The Old Globe, and Geva Theatre Center, as well as major New York institutions including Primary Stages and Classic Stage Company. His productions have received critical acclaim, including Drama Desk Award and Lucille Lortel Award nominations for Outstanding Director, as well as recognition such as Chicago Tribune’s “Best of 2024” (The Band’s Visit) and Los Angeles Times’ “Best of 2022” (Sanctuary City).
Based in New York City, he serves as Resident Director of Masquerade and has contributed to major productions including Hamilton and The Band’s Visit.
His current work includes directing Keiko Green’s You Are Cordially Invited to the End of the World! at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, along with the upcoming world premiere of Yussef El Guindi’s Refugee Rhapsody at CATF.
