This dress is Ashley's very first sewing project. She chose a really great lightweight fabric for this halter dress.

Black lace over red fabric gives these fingerless gloves an extra edge. Not sure what the dress code for Middle School is...

Isn't this a great second project? Sewing this cozy fleece robe gave Eliza experience working with fleece - quite different from working with other fabrics.

Bettina cut this skirt pattern on the bias to give it a great drape and a super-comfy feel. With one great-fitting skirt pattern, you can make an endless amount of variations using cuts and fabrics.

This knit top pattern was plain but we decided to add the embellishment along the top when the neckline ended up being too open.

Rachel used the paper pattern as a jump-off point to her own creativity, tweaking the details to her own design preferences.

This fabric came all the way from Mood Fabric in NYC (made famous on Project Runway). Molly made good use of it turning it into a very sophisticated skirt.

This was Amanda's first project. Didn't it turn out great?! Some beginning sewers are a little apprehensive about making garments, but some patterns are simple and can build valuable sewing skills. This fits her so well and she was thrilled that she could make the skirt a length suitable for her tall build.

A nice, neat pair of pajama pants for her husband. This was one of Bettina's first projects.

A vibrant fleece robe for Lindsay. We took care to match up the colors on the fabric to give it a more polished look.

Skinny jeans, customized with an "R" on the back pocket. Go Rachel!
