At Evergreen, we share firework disposal safety tips every year because even after the celebration ends, fireworks can remain hot enough to ignite nearby materials if they aren't disposed of correctly.
Our thoughts are with the family affected, and we encourage everyone to take a few extra precautions when cleaning up after holiday festivities. Proper disposal helps protect your home, your neighbors, and our entire community.
REMEMBER:
-✅Soak used fireworks in water for 15 minutes
-✅Drain the water onto gravel or grass – not into a sink or storm drain
-✅Bag them before placing them in the trash
-❌Never place hot fireworks in your trash cart.
