NW VISTAs Program

Good times...

is proud to announce that it was awarded the AmeriCorps grant to sponsor and oversee the NW VISTAS cohort, which supports the anti-poverty movement and places AmeriCorps volunteers at nonprofits, government, tribal, or educational organizations throughout Snohomish, Skagit, and Island Counties. In this capacity, VCS will assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and stewardship of the AmeriCorps VISTA members.

NW VISTA HIGHLIGHT: Recently graduated VISTA member Sarah, who dedicated a year of service at HopeWorks Social Enterprises in Everett! 👏🏼🌟🤗
Sarah had wanted to try something new, and that is exactly what she got! While she was apprehensive at first, Sarah completed her year as an AmeriCorps VISTA with great success and accomplishment, learning how to function effectively outside of her comfort zone. Now that she's graduated from the program, she would like to get into government work, specifically immigration. Congratulations, Sarah, and good luck to you moving forward!
