While out for a walk this evening this guy came trotting down the trail towards us. I got one shot with my phone before he was trying to knock my phone out of my hand demanding pets.
Many times, I've been out and wished I had my camera with me but honestly the phones we all carry with us have pretty impressive cameras if you use a bit of creativity.
To get this perspective I took my phone and flipped it upside down so the camera lenses were close to the ground and tilted the phone a bit to look up at the cat.
Full timelapse of the second substorm on Friday March 13th
Timelapse #2 from Valentine's night which actually was shot first 🤣. Fog/humidity had me setting up on a observation deck to catch this first substorm. At least the nice weather made up for the crappy viewing conditions.

I'm not sure how my wife hasn't killed me yet but, here's one of the Valentines Day Aurora timelapses I shot. Nearly an hour straight of aurora activity down to less than 30 seconds.

What a night, I shot over 1500 photos for timelapses that I'll start on tomorrow. But here's a teaser for now, it's awesome how the ice is reflecting the color of Aurora.

It took a few tries, but I finally saw the Great Horned Owls at Heckrodt Wetland Reserve this afternoon. Such a cool experience to sit a watch them for a bit.
